These terms of service ("Terms", "Agreement") are an agreement between GHO Distribution Ltd ("GHO Distribution Ltd", "us", "we" or "our") and you ("User", "you" or "your"). This Agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the http://www.gho.ie website and any of its products or services (collectively, "Website" or "Services").

Accounts and membership

If you create an account at the Website, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with it. Providing false contact information of any kind may result in the termination of your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. We will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions. We may suspend, disable, or delete your account (or any part thereof) if we determine that you have violated any provision of this Agreement or that your conduct or content would tend to damage our reputation and goodwill. If we delete your account for the foregoing reasons, you may not re-register for the our Services. We may block your email address and Internet protocol address to prevent further registration.

Billing and payments

You shall pay all fees or charges to your account in accordance with the fees, charges, and billing terms in effect at the time a fee or charge is due and payable. If, in our judgment, your purchase constitutes a high risk transaction, we will require you to provide us with a copy of your valid government-issued photo identification, and possibly a copy of a recent bank statement for the credit or debit card used for the purchase. We reserve the right to change products and product pricing at any time. We also reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.

Accuracy of information

Occasionally there may be information on our Website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to availability, promotions and offers. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the Website or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information on the Website including, without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied on the Website should be taken to indicate that all information on the Website or on any related website has been modified or updated.

Third party services

If you decide to enable, access or use third party services, be advised that your access and use of such other services is governed solely by the terms and conditions of such other services, and we do not endorse, are not responsible or liable for, and make no representations as to any aspect of such other services, including, without limitation, their content or the manner in which they handle data (including your data) or any interaction between you and the provider of such other services. You irrevocably waive any claim against GHO Distribution Ltd with respect to such other services. GHO Distribution Ltd is not liable for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with your enablement, access or use of any such other services, or your reliance on the privacy practices, data security processes or other policies of such other services. We are not responsible for Content residing on the Website. In no event shall we be held liable for any loss of any Content. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will GHO Distribution Ltd, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers or licensors be liable to any person for (a): any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, cover or consequential damages (including, without limitation, damages for lost profits, revenue, sales, goodwill, use or content, impact on business, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity) however caused, under any theory of liability, including, without limitation, contract, tort, warranty, breach of statutory duty, negligence or otherwise, even if GHO Distribution Ltd has been advised as to the possibility of such damages or could have foreseen such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of GHO Distribution Ltd and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers and licensors, relating to the services will be limited to an amount greater of one dollar or any amounts actually paid in cash by you to GHO Distribution Ltd for the prior one month period prior to the first event or occurrence giving rise to such liability. The limitations and exclusions also apply if this remedy does not fully compensate you for any losses or fails of its essential purpose.


You agree to indemnify and hold GHO Distribution Ltd and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents harmless from and against any liabilities, losses, damages or costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, incurred in connection with or arising from any third-party allegations, claims, actions, disputes, or demands asserted against any of them as a result of or relating to your Content, your use of the Website or Services or any willful misconduct on your part.


All rights and restrictions contained in this Agreement may be exercised and shall be applicable and binding only to the extent that they do not violate any applicable laws and are intended to be limited to the extent necessary so that they will not render this Agreement illegal, invalid or unenforceable. If any provision or portion of any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, it is the intention of the parties that the remaining provisions or portions thereof shall constitute their agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof, and all such remaining provisions or portions thereof shall remain in full force and effect.

Dispute resolution

The formation, interpretation and performance of this Agreement and any disputes arising out of it shall be governed by the substantive and procedural laws of Dublin, Ireland without regard to its rules on conflicts or choice of law and, to the extent applicable, the laws of Ireland. The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for actions related to the subject matter hereof shall be the state and federal courts located in Dublin, Ireland, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. You hereby waive any right to a jury trial in any proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this Agreement.

Changes and amendments

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement or its policies relating to the Website or Services at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Agreement on the Website. When we do we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the Website after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.


Delivery Costs

Please note there is a 1/ 2 Day lead time on all products as GHO acquires stock to fulfil orders that are not in our warehouse at time of ordering. Please note that Orders placed and paid for after 3.30 pm will be processed the following business day.  
GHO appointed couriers deliver on working days only. Deliveries are not made on Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays or Public Holidays.

Order placed before 3.30PM can be collected same day if the item is in stock in the GHO warehouse.  If  the item is not in the GHO warehouse it can be collected two working days from day of order being placed.  Customers will be notified by e-mail when their purchase is ready for collection and will be supplied with a collection number. The collection number must be at hand at time of collection.

Delivery & Collection Info

Speedy Deliveries

In order for the couriers to successfully and promptly deliver an order, customers must be available to receive and sign for that order. Couriers will not leave a package unattended at a door, the driver must obtain a signature and printed name to complete the delivery. As a customer has selected to obtain there products from an online company, GHO.ie expects the customer to be available at the delivery address to accept the delivery. The Couriers will not guarantee a window of delivery; they can deliver anytime during a business day. Delivery will usually take place the day after you receive a dispatch email from our warehouse, but in some cases it will be the second day after receipt of the email.

Customers requesting a delivery to a company should note the delivery will probably not be made directly to them, but will be signed for at goods in, post room or reception area.

Should a customer not be at home after the first attempt to deliver, couriers will leave a calling card with contact information. Using the information on the calling card, the customer should get in contact with the courier to make arrangements to attempt a second delivery. If no contact is made within the seven day holding period the package will be returned to GHO Online for collection from our warehouse. Should a customer request a second dispatch they will be charged another delivery.

The couriers are supplied with a customer contact number; however, it is not their policy to call a customer before they attempt delivery. The number is supplied for the courier ’s convenience, and for them to use should they have a problem.

Where we deliver and how much it costs

GHO Online only deliver to the whole of Ireland.

The  stated delivery costs include VAT The delivery times are calculated from the time payment is processed. They are based on an order weighing less than 30kg. Price for deliveries over 30kg and pallet deliveries  will be quoted for by e-mail before the order are processed. This is due to the lack of accurate product weight information. Should a customer suspect a higher delivery charge they can email sales@gho.ie garech@gho.ie or olan@gho.ie prior to placing the order to verify carriage costs. Order are delivered on business days only

A customer collect there order from our facilities at Unit 9 Bluebell Business park, Old Naas road, Dublin 12. Notification of order readiness is sent by email from our warehouse when the products become available. This availability can take 1-2 days depending on stock levels and payment processing.

To avoid disappointment collections should only be made after the you have received e-mailed confirmation from GHO that your order is ready for collection and. The e-mail will include the collection number.

Orders placed for collection should be collected within 5 working days from the customer receiving the e-mailed collection notice . After five days, if we have not received notification from the customer as to the reason for the delay in collecting, a daily storage charge may be added to the order. GHO.ie would prefer not to enforce this storage but we have very limited space. Customers should email sales@gho.ie if they have a problem collecting their order in a reasonable time frame.

Your order can be collected anytime between 9.00AM to 5.30PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY (excluding bank holidays). Please remember to wait for your collection email.

Damaged in Transit

 If your goods were damaged in transit, we request that you report it to us within 48 hours. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt, please sign the delivery note accordingly. Once the damaged goods are received back into our warehouse, we will send out a replacement for the item. 

 Delivery Tracking

You can track the progress of an Irish nationwide delivery. Once you have received the dispatch confirmation email from our warehouse your order is in the hands of our nationwide courier. To track the deliveries progress: 

1. Login to the Couriers website. Couriers website and tracking will be provided by e-mail 
2. Click on the Service for recipients 
3. Enter the Parcel number in the box provided 
4. The status of your delivery will be available.

5. Proof of Delivery is available for all delivered orders.

Order Status

To get your order's status, login to the GHO Online members section. Click on Current Orders to show the orders we are currently processing. 

In addition to the status of an order you will see an estimated delivery date. This date is meant as a guide only and it not definite. 


1. Awaiting Payment: Order has been sent to our system, order is NOT LIVE and will NOT be processed until payment is          made.

2. Payment Received, Processing Order: Your payment has been authorised and will be now processed (0 - 0.5 days)

3. Purchasing and Allocating Stock: Stock being purchased or allocated to your order (1 - 2 days)

4. Picking and Packing Order: Your order is being picked and packed in our warehouse. (0.5 days)

5. Stock Allocated, Awaiting Dispatch: Your order will be despatched this evening

6. Out on Delivery: You will receive an email confirming despatch and containing tracking numbers and courier contact              numbers. Depending on delivery option delivery will take (0.5 to 2 days)


6. Your order is ready for Collection, ID Required for Collection: You will receive a collection email. Your order is now        ready for collection please remember to bring ID.

7. Order Completed: Your order is now completed, you will be able to download your invoice 2 days after delivery/collection.

Other Statuses:

Back Ordered, Some Products Out of Stock: You will receive a back order email detailing which items are out of stock and option to switch products if desired. You will also be provided with an estimated availibility date.

Stock Partly Assigned: Status Between No. 3 and 4 above, some items are assigned to your order, we are still waiting on the remaider of the items in your order (1 day)

Order on Hold: Order on hold, you will be contacted by us.

Part Delivered: Your order has been partially delivered

Order Cancelled: Your order has been cancelled

Orders Awaiting Payment

 Login to the GHO Online 

2. Click on Orders Awaiting Payment. 
3. This will bring you to the Current Orders Awaiting Payment page 
4. You will see a list of all outstanding orders complete with the date they where submitted, the order number and the status. 
5. Under the details column, click on Detail/Make Payment for the corresponding order you wish to make payment to. 
6. You will be brought to the details for the order. You can see the product description along with the price details. 
7. Below the total column click on 'Proceed to Secure Online Payment Page'. Enter your payment details in the secure payment page and click submit, your order is now paid. 

Cancelling an Order 

Only web orders that are waiting on payment can be cancelled online. Orders that are in any other processing phase must be cancelled in writing by submitting an email with the order number to customerservices@GHO.ie. 

If you wish to cancel an order that is awaiting payment: 

1. Login to the GHO Online members section and click on Orders Awaiting Payment.
2. This will bring you to the Current Orders Awaiting Payment page 
3. You will see a list of all outstanding orders complete with the date they where submitted, the order number and the status. 
4. On the far right of the screen there is a red cross under the cancel order column. 
5. Click on the appropriate red cross for the order you wish to cancel. 
6. A dialog box will pop up with the following: Are you sure you wish to cancel this order - Ok for yes, cancel for no. 
7. Click on OK and your order is cancelled. 

Delivery Tracking

You can track the progress of an Irish nationwide delivery. Once you have received the dispatch confirmation email from our warehouse your order is in the hands of our nationwide courier. To track the deliveries progress: 

1. Login to the GHO Online members section and click on Current Orders 
2. You will see listed all orders we are currently processing and the different phase of processing each order is at. 
3. An order that is out on delivery will say so under the status column. 
4. Beside the status you will see the tracking number for your order 
5. Click on the tracking number and you will be directed to the relevant page on the courier's website. Proof of delivery images will also appear on this courier page within a few days of signing a delivery.

 Payment Options

Payment Before Processing

Customers should note that all payments are taken before products are ordered, if there is a delay receiving a check, bank draft or a credit/debit card is unauthorised the order will not be processed until payment is made. 

 Orders Awaiting Payment

 You can submit online payment for outstanding orders at any time. To go to the secure payment page for an order that is not yet paid do the following: 

1. Login to the GHO Online members section. 
2. Click on Orders Awaiting Payment. 
3. This will bring you to the Current Orders Awaiting Payment page 
4. You will see a list of all outstanding orders complete with the date they were submitted, the order number and the status. 
5. Under the details column, click on Detail/Make Payment for the corresponding order you wish to make payment to. 
6. You will be brought to the details for the order. You can see the product description along with the price details. 
7. Below the total column click on 'Proceed to Secure Online Payment Page'. Enter your payment details in the secure                  payment page and click submit, your order is now paid. 

Payment Methods

Credit Cards: We accept 3V, Visa and MasterCard

Debit Cards: All Visa and MasterCard Debit Cards. 

Security: Verified by VISA and MasterCard Secure Code through SSL. 

Check/Bank Draft/Postal Order: Please make these payable to GHO Distribution Ltd. You should write your order number on the back of the payment and post it to GHO Distribution Ltd. Unit 9 Bluebell Business park, Old Naas Road, Dublin 12. 

Bank Transfer: You may opt to transfer the funds directly into our bank account. Please insure you reference your order number in the transfer, or your order will be delayed while we trace the payment. Our account number will be given at checkout.



 If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.


You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To initiate the returns procedure e-mail david@gho.ie and request a Returns Form.  Please complete in full and return to david@gho.ie or post to GHO, Unit 9 Bluebell Business Park, Old Naas Road, Dublin 12.

Your item can be collected by GHO.ie couriers


Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the refund within five days, depending on your card issuer's policy


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

 Personal Information

When you register with GHO.ie we require an email address and contact information. This is required for communications regarding your order or other requests, weekly specials and other information which you have requested from us.

All personal information is protected by local and national data protection and privacy laws. By disclosing your personal information and using GHO.ie  Web Systems, you consent to the collection, storage, disclosure, processing, use and transfer of your personal information where necessary and if required by GHO.ie, our data processors, our payment processors, financial institutions or fraud-risk management authorities.

We will also use the information you provide for the following purposes:

1. To send updates regarding the status of your orders
2. To send you newsletters and details of offers and promotions which you have requested
3. To improve the content, design and layout of our website and to facilitate knowledge management
4. To understand the interests and buying behaviour of our registered users
5. To contact you in case of difficulty arising from delivery (i.e. remote areas in the country)

We will not disclose your Personal Data to third parties unless you have consented to this disclosure or unless the third party is required to fulfil your order (in such circumstances, the third party is bound by similar data protection requirements. We will disclose your Personal Data if we believe in good faith that we are required to disclose it in order to comply with any applicable law, a summons, a search warrant, a court or regulatory order, or other statutory requirement. )

GHO Online uses Secured Servers to process your payments and firewalled servers and other security measures to ensure the safety of your personal information.

Our website creates a single cookie on your machine containing session and state information. The information within this cookie does not include any financial information. Our website requires cookies to be enabled in the web browser and in any third party security programs to allow tasks such as registering, logging in, buying items or accessing accounts. Please be aware that should cookies be disabled or blocked by third party software, many of the features of the website will be impaired or unavailable.

Your password stored in our database is encrypted with a one-way hash and cannot be decrypted to ensure highest levels of security.

Deletion of your Personal Data

We are unable to delete your GHO Online account information containing your personal information for a period of 7 years from the date of your last interaction with us (this could be a sales transaction, a return, or some other interaction with GHO Online via our Customer Services team or our online tools). This is because we may need to access historical information for business reporting and accounting purposes. Please note however, that at any point in time you may opt in or out of marketing communications via the 'your account' section of this website or simply click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every marketing email and you will be opted out of all email communications.

GHO.ie reserves the right to alter or amend its data protection and privacy statement from time to time in its sole discretion.

WEEE Directive

From March 2014 retailers are obliged to take back WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and Waste Battery from members of the public free of charge. This new EU directive ensures that all historic WEEE products are collected, treated and disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.

How does WEEE work?

Take back is on a one-for-one basis only and the product must be of a similar type or have performed the same function as the new product purchased. For example if you purchase a hair-dryer we will take back your old hair-dryer free of charge and ensure it is recycled in a safe and responsible manner. However if you buy a toaster, we will not take back your old television or kettle.

How do I know if my product is covered?

If the symbol shown here is found on any of your goods, it means that the product is covered by the WEEE Regulations

How do I return my old product?

You can return your old product/waste batteries to us at Unit 9, Bluebell Business Park, Old Naas Road, Dublin  You can also bring your old product to your nearest civic amenity centre, of which there are approximately 64 located throughout the country, which will allow consumers to dispose of all old electronic equipment and waste batteries free of charge. 

For Home users GHO will recycle all WEEE and waste batteries that are sent to our warehouse (Unit 9, BLuebell Business Park Old Naas Road, Dublin 12), this must be accompanied by a valid order number.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and waste batteries must never be placed in your waste disposal or recycling bins. WEEE is taken back free of charge at our warehouse on a one-for-one like-for-like basis. There is a bin for small batteries at our collection point. Local authority civic amenity facilities also take back WEEE and waste batteries free of charge. WEEE and waste battery recycling is free.

What are the Environmental Management Costs or Producer Recycling Fund(PRF)?

To ensure the collection, treatment and disposal of all WEEE and waste batteries in a safe manner, the prices of electronic and electrical items will now include a contribution to a producer recycling fund. Each item will be associated with a product category, e.g. large household appliances, electronic and electrical tools, etc, which will determine the EMC that applies. All products that incur an EMC, will clearly display the EMC along with the item price both before and after the EMC is applied.
